OUR STORY
Have you ever truly wondered about movement? Our founder spent a vast majority of his time as a college student questioning about how much we understood human movement.
With a background in profesional ballroom dancing and after becoming US World Champion, he decided to blend his software engineering degree in hopes of understanding movement in a quantifiable way. What would it mean for us to understand exactly how well we’re performing? He became determined to create a product that would answer all his questions. The year 2017 was a tipping point to turn his thesis and curiosity into a passion -- MoveSmarter.
In 2019, his work was recognized at the International Society of Biomechanics World Conference in Calgary, Canada. Ultimately this encourage him to pursue MoveSmarter as a more serious venture. In September of 2020 MoveSmarter placed the intellectual property of the system into a non-provisional patent. The first version of the app was approved by Apple App Store in December 2020, and now we are working on the second version, soon to be launch beginnings of 2023.
Currently, our team has grown with talented, and dedicated, members ready to pursue MoveSmarter’s vision to be a pioneer for the future of movement intelligence. Our focus is on perfecting the quality of information our users receive and enhancing MoveSmarter to become a part of your lifestyle.
